Educational Perspective

Riverside Christian Day School stands as a sphere of service especially designed for the Christian family. The program offers a Christ-centered education with an academic standard that is accepted on a national level.

On the spiritual level, the School seeks to develop a moral character which emanates from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This arises out of the application of His atoning work to the individual.

On the academic level, the School centers its entire philosophy of education upon Jesus Christ. The Scriptures teach that Christ is the Creator of all things; thus, there can be no true education unless the primary focus of each subject has in view the Son of God as the Supreme Reality.

Arithmetic, grammar, and reading are basic tools fundamental to all areas of learning. The School stresses these along with a Bible curriculum. A specialized system of phonics is utilized, which is designed to produce readers in the primary grades.
