More ways to show your support!
 
Here are some easy ways to support RCDS while doing your normal shopping.

Empties4Cash is a way to recycle empty ink jet cartridges and raise funds for the school.  You can put your empty ink jet cartridge in a ziplock baggie and place it in the green recycle box in the library or bring it by the front office.

Vons shoppers can contribute while they shop!  Vons will contribute to our school each time you use your Vons Club Card when it is registered with eScrip.  Go online to escrip.com or fill out the form available in the front office.

Ralph’s Community Contribution program works in a similar way.  If you already have a Ralph’s Rewards Card, sign up for the Community Contributions online at www.ralphs.com.  If you don’t have a Ralph’s Rewards Card yet, sign up at the register the next time you shop at Ralph’s.  Using these cards as you do your regular shopping will provide a wonderful benefit for our school. 

Shop with Scrip!  Scrip is an everyday gift card from stores we all frequent.  We buy these gift cards at a discounted price and then resell them to our school families at face value.  Orders are collected twice a month.  Check the calendar lunch menu for dates.

Labels for Education program supports schools by providing free educational merchandise.  You can help by saving UPC labels from participating products and send them in to your child’s classroom collection box.  Some of the products eligible for redemption are Campbell’s soups, Prego Italian sauces, and Pepperidge Farm products. Box Tops for Education program is yet another way to help.  Last year we received a check for over $1,500 from General Mills.  Just trim the Box Tops found on General Mills products (Box Top Flier) and send them in to your child’s classroom collection box.  We are pleased to announce a classroom competition for the Box Tops program.

Classes will compete from September 27, 2010-February 11, 2011
to see which class will bring in the most Box Tops.
Updates on the top classes will be given periodically.
Winning classes will be announced Monday, March 7, 2011, at flag salutes.

The top three classes will receive an Ice Cream Sundae Party!
